La adicción es una enfermedad crónica caracterizado por la búsqueda y el consumo compulsivo de la sustancia psicoactiva.
El objetivo de esta investigación es determinar la importancia del programa motivacional en el ciclo de cambio del comportamiento en pacientes consumidores de sustancias psicoactivas. Esta investigación en mención es de enfoque cuantitativo, y en cuanto al diseño metodológico es una investigación pre experimental. La población para la realización de esta investigación estará formada por 30 pacientes que acuden a consulta externa del centro de rehabilitación de ñaña en forma voluntaria la cual se le tomara una prueba antes de un tratamiento y luego una prueba después de haber recibido un tratamiento.
Se utilizará el instrumento de Escala de Evaluación del Cambio de la Universidad de Rhode Island (URICA) que permitirá evaluar el estadio de cambio respecto a la modificación de cualquier conducta adictiva.
