Because it has been a problem in public health in recent years, due to inadequate management of certain biosafety equipment, thus causing an increase in morbidity and mortality during hospital stay. OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between the knowledge and practice of nursing professionals on secretion aspiration in intubated patients in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital-MINSA, 2023. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Quantitative approach, hypothetical-deductive method, applied type, design nonexperimental, cross-sectional, correlational level. With a population made up of 42 nurses. The instruments to be used are the questionnaire for the knowledge variable (validity with the Binomial V statistical test with the Aiken method: 0.73 and KR-20 reliability: 0.86) and a checklist to measure the practice variable (validity with the Binomial V statistical test using the Aiken method: 0.75 and KR-20 reliability: 0.98).OBJETIVO: Determinar la relación del conocimiento y la práctica del profesional de enfermería sobre aspiración de secreciones en pacientes intubados de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital-MINSA, 2023. MATERIAL Y MÉTODOS: Enfoque cuantitativo, método hipotético-deductivo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal, de nivel correlacional. Con una poblacion conformada por 42 enfermeras. Los instrumentos a emplear son el cuestionario para la variable conocimiento (validez con prueba estadística Binominal V con el método de Aiken: 0,73 y confiabilidad KR-20:0,86) y una lista de cotejo para medir la variable la práctica (validez con prueba estadística Binominal V con el método de Aiken: 0,75 y confiabilidad KR-20: 0,98).application/pdfspahttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/Líquidos y SecrecionesFluids and SecretionsConocimientos, Actitudes y Práctica en SaludHealth Knowledge, Attitudes, PracticeEnfermeríaNursingKnowledge and practice of the nursing professional on suction of secretion in intubated patients in the intensive care unit of a Minsa hospital, 2023Conocimiento y práctica del profesional de enfermería sobre la aspiración de secreciones en pacientes intubados de la unidad de cuidados intensivos de un hospital del Minsa, 2023Knowledge and practice of the nursing professional on suction of secretion in intubated patients in the intensive care unit of a Minsa hospital, 2023http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_7a1fhttps://purl.org/pe-repo/ocde/ford#3.03.03ODS 3: Salud y bienestar.
