Methodology: The method will be hypothetical-deductive, quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental correlational cross-sectional design, the population will be integrated by the Nursing Staff, made up of 80 nurses from the emergency area of the hospital under study, it is a finite population Therefore, the entire population will be taken for the study, being a census sample. For data collection, two instruments will be used: the Questionnaire on Work Stress and the Quality of Work Life. Instruments with prior reliability and validity, after collecting the information, the data will be processed through descriptive and inferential statistical methods, presenting the data in double-entry tables, in addition, the hypotheses will be contrasted with the Spearman's Rho Correlation Statistical Test, taking a significance level of p < 0.05.Objetivo: Determinar cómo el estrés laboral se relaciona con la calidad de vida laboral del profesional de enfermería. Metodología: El método será hipotético–deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental correlacional de corte transversal, la población la integraran el Personal de Enfermería, conformado por 80 enfermeros del área de emergencia del hospital objeto de estudio, es una población finita pequeña por lo tanto se tomará toda la población para el estudio siendo una muestra censal. Para la recolección de datos se utilizarán dos instrumentos Cuestionario de sobre Estrés Laboral y el de Calidad de vida laboral.
