Resultados: Los factores con mayor asociación a la participación de la madre en el control CRED son: el lugar de procedencia (valor p de chi cuadrado 0,003 y OR=3.29 (1,47;7,37)), el estado civil (valor p de chi cuadrado 0,001 y OR=4,42 (1,80;10,89)), el ingreso mensual (valor p de chi cuadrado 0,003 y OR=3,60 (1,49;8,67)), planificación familiar (valor p de chi cuadrado 0,001 y OR=4,42 (1,80;10,89)), las dificultades o impedimentos para sacar la cita en CRED (valor p de chi cuadrado 0,003 y OR=3,64 (1,49;7,59)), el número de cupos en CRED (valor p de chi cuadrado 0,003 y OR=3,28 1,47;7,32)), y si la información que brinda la enfermera es fácil de entender (valor p de chi cuadrado 0,000 y OR=8,12 3,(19;20,68)). Conclusiones: Los factores personales e institucionales están asociados a la participación de las madres con niños menores de un año a excepción de grado de instrucción y hábito nocivo.Methodology: The study is non-experimental, retrospective, observational, cross-sectional, the design corresponds to cases and controls.
