Metodología: se desarrolló una investigación descriptiva correlacional, que permitió a través de desarrollo de consultas y aplicación de encuestas entre estudiantes determinar la relación entre las estrategias metodológicas y el desarrollo de habilidades y competencias laborales generales en estudiantes de 10 y 11 grado de secundaria de la Institución Educativa José Celestino Mutis de Bucaramanga, Santander. Resultados y Conclusiones: A través del coeficiente de correlación rho= 0,6650 con un valor p = 0,000 (p <0,05), se pudo determinar una correlación buena y permite entre el uso de estrategias metodológicas y el desarrollo de las competencias laborales en los estudiantes del grado 10 y 11 en el Colegio José Celestino Mutis. Los resultados de la investigación evidenciaron que a la hora de querer desarrollar competencias laborales se debe implementar en el aula de clase una serie de metodologías de enseñanza de tipo activas y/o participativas, como es el caso de la formulación de proyectos con estrategias de ensayo, elaboración y organizacionales.Title: Relationship between Methodological Strategies and Work Skills in Students of Grade 10 and 11 of Colegio José Celestino Mutis, Bucaramanga 2017.
