The methodology will be developed under a quantitative approach, hypothetical-deductive method, non-experimental design and correlational scope. The total population will be made up of 96 patients with a diagnosis of chronic kidney failure from the II-I Hospital of Ilave. The instruments to be used will be the questionnaire about knowledge about chronic kidney failure and the “Questionnaire for the assessment of patients' self-care practice.” in hemodialysis treatment.” The statistical processing of the results will be through descriptive and inferential statistics using the Chi-square test.El objetivo de esta investigación será determinar la relación entre el conocimiento sobre insuficiencia renal crónica y la práctica de autocuidado en pacientes con insuficiencia renal crónica del Hospital II-I Ilave año 2023.
