Objective: To determine the relationship between stress and parenting skills in parents of children who attend the growth and development clinic of a maternity center in Lima, 2023. Methods: applied, qualitative, hypothetical, correlational study. and transverse. The sample will be made up of 100 mothers. The survey will be used with two questionnaire instruments of certified and reliable validity, according to the statistical processes. The collected data will be processed in SPSS version 26. The verification of the hypotheses will be carried out through the application of statistical analysis based on Spearman's correlation coefficient, measuring the range relationship between these variables, thus offering a statistically robust and validated for the data set in question.Objetivo: Determinar relación entre el estrés y competencias parentales en padres de niños que acuden al consultorio de crecimiento y desarrollo de un centro materno de Lima, 2023. Métodos: estudio de tipo aplicado, cualitativo, hipotético, correlacional y transversal. La muestra estará conformada por 100 madres. Se empleará la encuesta con dos instrumentos cuestionarios de validez certificada y confiables, conforme a los procesos estadísticos. Los datos recolectados serán procesados en SPSS versión 26.
