Es así que se basa en la empatía y la comunicación eficaz, tanto con el personal de salud y los usuarios, es fundamental para mejorar su calidad de vida. Objetivo: “Determinar como la percepción del cuidado humanizado se correlaciona con la satisfacción del enfermo con cáncer de un hospital nacional”. Métodos: Es un trabajo cuantitativo, observacional, transversal y correlacional. El universo poblacional de estudio son 85 pacientes oncológicos, se enumerarán criterios de elegibilidad con la finalidad de disminuir y controlar el sesgo en la información. Los instrumentos serán PCHE y de satisfacción. La información será presentada en cuadros previo procesamiento en Excel y la estadística que se utilizará para el análisis será la descriptiva; y un análisis bivariado para comprobar la hipótesis planteada, este se realizará mediante el software SPSS 27, utilizándose como prueba de hipótesis la Rho de Spearman, en todas las fases de estudio se tendrá una actitud ética adecuada al estándar de los códigos y leyes que respaldan la ética en la actividad científica.Introduction: Humanized care is the care provided to patients considering their emotional, physical, spiritual and social needs. Thus, it is based on empathy and effective communication, both with health personnel and cancer patients, which is essential to improve their quality of life. Objective: “To determine how the perception of humanized care correlates with the satisfaction of cancer patients in a national hospital.” Methods: It is a quantitative, observational, transversal and correlational work. The study population universe is 85 oncological patients. Eligibility criteria will be listed in order to reduce and control information bias. The instruments will be PCHE and satisfaction. The data will be displayed in tables after being processed in Excel, and descriptive statistics will be applied for the analysis. A bivariate analysis will be conducted to test the proposed hypothesis, using SPSS 27 software and Spearman's Rho as the hypothesis test.
