La población estará formada por una muestra censal no probabilístico por conveniencia de 80 profesionales y técnicos que trabajan en la unidad de cuidados intensivos neonatales (UCIN) de un nosocomio en Lima. La técnica de recogida de datos utilizará una metodología de encuesta, utilizando dos instrumentos. Se enfatiza que los instrumentos empleados en la investigación fueron validados en investigaciones previas. Dado que las variables son cuantitativas, los datos recogidos se analizarán en el programa SPSS y las hipótesis se comprobarán mediante la prueba estadística del coeficiente de correlación de Spearman.Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge and practice regarding hand washing among healthcare personnel in the neonatal intensive care unit of a MINSA hospital in Lima, 2025. A hypothetical-deductive methodology will be used, with a quantitative, applied, non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional approach. The population will consist of a non-probabilistic convenience sample of 80 professionals and technicians working in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of a hospital in Lima. The data collection technique will use a survey methodology, employing two instruments. It should be emphasized that the instruments used in the research were validated in previous studies.
