Material and method: The methods used in the academic work will be of a basic prototype and a quantitative approach that will be carried out in the ICU area of a hospital in Lima, the population will be made up of 84 nurses. The work variables will be measured through the interview and the questionnaire as an instrument applied to the nurses whose answers will be yes, no, all and none respectively; finally, the data treatment will be executed through the SPSS program to demonstrate its results.El personal de enfermería tiene como una de sus funciones el cuidado ocular del paciente, esta es vital en el área UCI, con un procedimiento sencillo y con resultados favorables en el desarrollo de los pacientes.
