It was made up of 71 pregnant women who participated in the obstetric psychoprophylaxis program. In our results, it was observed that the average age of the participants was 26.6 ± 7.6 years, 57.7% had an age in the range of 20 to 34 years, 56.3% had at least secondary education and 62% declared that they were cohabiting. Before and after the application of the educational program, 32.4% and 97.2% presented a good level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding on average in the 3 areas: practice, importance and technique, respectively. This difference was statistically significant (p<0.000).
