Safe Surgery developed by the WHO aims to provide safety in the surgical act, reduce complications, errors and adverse events. Objective: The objective of the study is to determine the perception of the post-operative patient about safety in surgery in a public hospital Lima, 2020. Methodology: The study has a quantitative approach. A descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional study will be carried out. . The study population will be made up of 455 patients and the sample is 90 patients treated in the months of November and December 2020, the technique is the interview and the instrument is the questionnaire on Perception of safe surgery created by collazos made up of 15 questions divided into 3 dimensions: Before anesthesia with 9 questions, after surgeries 3 questions and Safety opinions of hospital services with 3 questions. These data will be entered into an Excel table, and after that they will be transferred to the SPSS version 26.0 program and the data will be statistically analyzed.Introducción: Según la OMS , evidencia importancia en el tema y la aplicación de normas para asegurar la atención de calidad. La Cirugía Segura desarrollado por la OMS tiene como fin de dar seguridad en el acto quirúrgico, reducir complicaciones, errores y eventos adversos. Objetivo: El objetivo del estudio es determinar la percepción del paciente post operado acerca de la seguridad en la cirugía en un hospital público Lima, 2020. Metodología: El estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo, Se realizará un estudio de tipo descriptivo, no experimental, transversal. La población del estudio estará conformada por 455 pacientes y la muestra es 90 pacientes atendidos en los meses de noviembre y diciembre 2020 , la técnica es la entrevista y el instrumento el cuestionario sobre Percepción de cirugía segura creada por collazos conformada por 15 preguntas divididas en 3 dimensiones: Antes de la anestesia con 9 preguntas, luego de cirugías 3 preguntas y Opiniones de seguridad de los servicios del hospital con 3 preguntas.
