Materials and Methods: It was carried out through a systematic review, 10 research articles were selected, taken from databases such as Pubmed, Elsevier, Scielo, the Cochrane, Google Scholar, the selection of these articles has been limited to studies with text complete, they were then evaluated through critical reading. Results: The study concluded 100% that non-pharmacological therapies were effective in preventing and treating oral mucositis. Conclusions: Among the non-pharmacological therapies that were effective in preventing and treating oral mucositis in cancer patients, we can find: the use of laser therapy, cryotherapy and the use of natural agents such as honey, aloe vera, zinc, Among others, to choose the most appropriate treatment it is necessary to evaluate the degree of mucositis and the economic factor. These treatments must go in conjunction with adequate nutrition and oral hygiene.Objetivos: Sistematizar la evidencia que existe sobre las medidas no farmacológicas eficaces para la prevención y tratamiento de la mucositis oral en pacientes oncológicos. Materiales y Métodos: Se llevó a cabo mediante una revisión sistemática, se seleccionaron 10 artículos de investigación, tomados de bases de datos como Pubmed, Elsevier, Scielo, the cochrane, google académico, la selección de estos artículos se ha limitado a estudios con texto completo, luego fueron evaluados mediante una lectura crítica. Resultados: El estudio concluyo al 100% que las terapias no farmacológicas fueron eficaces para prevenir y tratar la mucositis oral. Conclusiones: Entre las terapias no farmacológicas que fueron eficaces para prevenir y tratar la mucositis oral en pacientes oncológicos, podemos encontrar: el uso de la terapia laser, la crioterapia y el uso de agentes naturales como la miel, el aloe vera, el zinc, entre otros, para la elección del tratamiento más adecuado es necesario evaluar el grado de mucositis y el factor económico.
