The present secondary research titled as a critical review: Oropharyngeal Colostrum Positively Modulates the Inflammatory Response in Preterm Neonates aimed to evaluate the effects of oropharyngeal breast milk administration on inflammatory signaling in extremely premature babies. The clinical question was: Is there a positive relationship between the administration of oropharyngeal colostrum in very low weight premature newborns on inflammatory markers? The CASPE critical reading tool methodology was used for the Clinical Trial, which has a level of evidence I and a strong Grade of Recommendation, according to the researcher's expertise.
