METODOLOGÍA Y MUESTRA: Estudio observacional, correlacional y de corte transversal con enfoque cuantitativo. Se trabajó con una muestra censal de 91 adultos mayores. INSTRUMENTOS: Se utilizó una encuesta para recopilar datos sociodemográficos y el Test de Tinetti para evaluar el riesgo de caídas. RESULTADOS: El 76.9% de los adultos mayores tenían un buen entorno, y el 71.4% presentó bajo riesgo de caídas. Se encontró una relación significativa entre el entorno y el riesgo de caídas (p < 0.005), así como con las dimensiones de equilibrio estático y dinámico. CONCLUSIÓN: Existe una relación significativa entre el riesgo de caídas y el entorno en adultos mayores, lo que resalta la importancia de mejorar los espacios para reducir este riesgo.OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between the risk of falls and the environment in older adults in a senior center in Lima, 2024.
