Metodología: El estudio empleará el método deductivo con enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, de diseño no experimental, descriptivo y correlacional. La muestra estará conformada por 80 pacientes diagnosticados con esquizofrenia y 80 cuidadores responsables, seleccionados mediante muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple. Técnicas e instrumentos: Para la recopilación de datos se utilizará la técnica de encuesta, aplicando la Escala de Carga del Cuidador de Zarit (ECCZ) y la Escala de Adherencia al Tratamiento, ambas validadas por juicio de expertos. Procedimiento: La recolección de datos se realizará durante el último trimestre del 2025 de forma presencial; posteriormente la información se organizará en Excel y la base de datos se exportará al software estadístico SPSS versión 25. Análisis Estadístico: Se realizará un análisis descriptivo e inferencial, pruebas estadísticas como el Tau b de Kendall y el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman, además de tablas y gráficas para la presentación de resultados.Objective: To determine the relationship between caregiver burden and adherence to treatment in patients with schizophrenia treated at the Community Mental Health Center in Huaraz, during the year 2025.
