It was determined that the use of this medication within the therapy for EDAs is recommended, since the adverse effects presented by this drug are minor compared to other medications used for this type of diseases.Podemos concluir que al igual que los otros autores, el racecadotrilo es un medicamento eficaz para el tratamiento inicial de niños menores de 5 años con enfermedad diarreica aguda en comparación a otros tratamientos, esto al demostrar una disminución en el número de deposiciones iniciada la terapia.
