This is motivated by the complications presented by individuals who passed through the intensive care unit due to SARS-CoV-2. The general objective is to determine the association between sleep quality and cognitive decline in post-COVID-19 patients. Methodology: hypothetical-deductive approach with a quantitative focus, basic type of research, non-experimental cross-sectional correlational design. The population will consist of post-COVID-19 patients, with a sample of 80 patients meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The technique used will be the interview, and the instruments for variable 1 will include the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index with an internal consistency of 0.83, and for variable 2, the Pfeiffer Questionnaire with a Cronbach alpha of 0.82.La investigación buscará la relación existente entre la calidad de sueño y el deterioro cognitivo en pacientes post covid- 19 de un hospital de Arequipa. Motivada por la manifestación de complicaciones presentadas por las personas que pasaron por la unidad de cuidados intensivos a causa del SARS-CoV 2. El objetivo general es determinar la asociación entre calidad de sueño y deterioro cognitivo en pacientes post COVID- 19. Metodología: hipotético deductivo de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo de investigación básica. Diseño no experimental correlacional transversal.
