The objective is to determine the relationship between the level of uncertainty and anxiety in the relatives of adult patients in the emergency department of a public hospital in Supe, 2022. Methodology: This is a quantitative, applied study with a non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional design. The sample consists of 375 relatives selected through a simple random sampling method. The Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale and Mishel Uncertainty in Illness Scale will be used as instruments to measure anxiety and uncertainty, respectively. Both instruments are highly valid and reliable, having been applied in various studies. Statistical analysis will employ the Chi-square test with a significance level of P ≤ 0.05. The expected results aim to demonstrate the relationship between the level of uncertainty and anxiety among relatives of adult patients in the emergency department of a public hospital in Supe, 2022.El presente proyecto de investigación tiene como finalidad conocer el comportamiento de dos variables importantes en los familiares de pacientes ingresados al servicio de emergencia de un hospital, se ha planteado el objetivo de Determinar la relación del nivel de incertidumbre y ansiedad de familiares del paciente adulto en el servicio de emergencia de un Hospital Público, Supe, 2022.
