Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and anemia prevention practices in mothers of children under 3 years of age in a Centro de Essalud Lurín, Lima-2023. Methods: applied, quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional. The sample will be made up of 108 mothers of children under 3 years of age attending the anemia service at a Centro de Essalud Lurín, Lima-2023. The technique applied will be the face-to-face survey and the instrument will be two questionnaires: Questionnaire on knowledge of iron deficiency anemia adapted by Romero and Practices to prevent anemia developed by Ramos Galindo, both instruments are validated and reliable to measure the variables in question. The data collected will be processed in SPSS and the hypotheses will be tested using the Spearman correlation coefficient statistical test given the nature of the study variables.Introducción: el nivel de conocimientos y prácticas de prevención de las madres sobre la anemia en sus hijos es fundamental, motivo por el cual el sector salud, a través, de los profesionales de enfermería, promueve prácticas saludables oportunas y apropiadas como consejería, orientación nutricional y uso de carteles y afiches de campañas para prevenir la anemia. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas de prevención en anemia en madres de niños menores de 3 años de un Centro de Essalud Lurín, Lima-2023. Métodos: de tipo aplicado, cuantitativo, correlacional y transversal. La muestra estará constituida por 108 madres de familia de niños menores de 3 años que asisten al servicio de anemia en un Centro de Essalud Lurín, Lima – 2023. La técnica aplicada será la encuesta presencial y el instrumento serán dos cuestionarios: Cuestionario sobre conocimientos de anemia ferropénica adaptado por Romero y Prácticas para prevenir anemia elaborado por Ramos Galindo, ambos instrumentos están validados y son confiables para medir las variables en cuestión.
