A través de diversas investigaciones se ha comprobado que no todo el personal de enfermería cuenta con los conocimientos adecuados y actitudes que reflejen el total de sus capacidades para atender a dichos neonatos los cuales se consideran como la población más vulnerable ante secuelas, complicaciones y hasta la muerte. Es por ello la iniciativa de presentar el siguiente proyecto de investigación. OBJETIVO: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre reanimación cardiopulmonar en neonatos prematuros y la actitud del personal de enfermería de la unidad de terapia intensiva neonatal. MATERIALES Y METODOS: es una investigación cuantitativa de tipo aplicada con diseño observacional, descriptivo, correlacional, prospectivo y trasversal. La muestra será de 80 enfermeros y los instrumentos a usar son una lista de cotejo y un cuestionario con resultado en test de Kuder Richardson de 0.836 para la variable conocimientos y un test de Likert con resultado en Alfa de Cronbach de 0.960 para la variable actitudes.This research will be conducted in the neonatal intensive care unit, where the majority of premature newborns are cared for.
