Factores como el estrés, los conflictos familiares, la presión social y la escasa disponibilidad de apoyo psicológico influyen significativamente en el malestar emocional de muchas personas, llevándolas a experimentar sentimientos de soledad y desesperanza. Si bien se han implementado algunas iniciativas para fortalecer la atención en salud mental, aún persisten importantes limitaciones en cuanto al acceso y la cobertura. La ideación suicida, definida como la aparición de pensamientos sobre el deseo de morir o la planificación de un suicidio, constituye una manifestación crítica de cuadros depresivos no atendidos oportunamente. El objetivo de este estudio “Determinar la relación existente entre la depresión y la ideación suicida en adolescentes en un Centro de Salud-Lima, 2025. Metodología: El estudio se desarrolla con el método hipotético deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, corte transversal y nivel correlacional. La población total estará constituida por 100 adolescentes del servicio de unidad niño/niña adolescente del Centro de Salud - Lima, 2025. Se emplearán dos instrumentos, el cuestionario “Inventario de Depresión de Beck II” para evaluar la depresión cuestionario de escala de la ideación suicida de Beck. para evaluar la ideación suicida. Los datos recolectados serán analizados usando el software estadístico SPSS versión 26 y serán sometidas a pruebas estadísticas descriptivas e inferenciales como el coeficiente de correlación Rho de Spearman para determinar la relación entre las variables.In the current context of Peru, depressive disorders and suicidal ideation have gained increasing relevance, especially among the youth population. Factors such as stress, family conflicts, social pressure, and the limited availability of psychological support significantly influence the emotional distress experienced by many individuals, leading them to feelings of loneliness and hopelessness. Although some initiatives have been implemented to strengthen mental health care, significant limitations regarding access and coverage still persist. Suicidal ideation, defined as the emergence of thoughts about the desire to die or planning suicide, represents a critical manifestation of untreated depressive episodes. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between depression and suicidal ideation in adolescents at a Health Center in Lima - 2025. Methodology: This study is conducted using the hypothetical-deductive method, with a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational approach. The total population will consist of 100 adolescents from the child/adolescent unit of the l Health Center – Lima 2025. Two instruments will be used: the "Beck Depression Inventory II" to assess depression, and the "Beck Scale for Suicidal Ideation" to evaluate suicidal ideation.
