RESULTS: Of the 10 (100%) articles reviewed, 50% (5/10) correspond to a systematic review, 30% (3/10) correspond to the cohort study, 10% (1/10) correspond to the clinical study randomized and 10% (1/10) corresponds to the descriptive study. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 100% evidence on vitamin K as a protective factor to prevent hemorrhagic diseases in Newborns. CONCLUSIONS: It is concluded that the systematic review of the 10 scientific articles reviewed, 100% evidences the existence of vitamin K as a protective factor to prevent hemorrhagic diseases in the Newborn.MATERIAL Y MÉTODO: La revisión sistemática de los artículos científicos encontrados sobre la vitamina K como factor protector para prevenir enfermedades hemorrágicas en el Recién Nacido, fueron hallados en la siguiente base de datos Cochrane, Lilacs, Scielo, Medline Pubmed, todos ellos fueron analizados según la escala Grade para determinar su fuerza y calidad de evidencia. RESULTADOS: De los 10 (100%) artículos revisados, el 50 % (5/10) corresponden a revisión sistemática, el 30 % (3/10) corresponde al estudio de cohorte, 10 % (1/ 10) corresponde al estudio clínico aleatorizado y el 10% (1/10) corresponde al estudio descriptivo. De los 10 artículos revisados sistemáticamente, el 100% evidencia sobre la vitamina K como factor protector para prevenir enfermedades hemorrágicas en el Recién Nacidos.
