Se plantea que un adecuado conocimiento y manejo de estas prácticas es fundamental para prevenir infecciones nosocomiales y garantizar la seguridad del paciente. El estudio se basa en la relevancia de mantener la esterilidad de los materiales hospitalarios a través de un almacenamiento correcto, considerando factores como condiciones ambientales, infraestructura, manipulación y transporte. Utiliza un enfoque cuantitativo, correlacional y no experimental, con una población de 80 enfermeros que laboran en el servicio central de reprocesamiento de material y se aplicaran instrumentos de validados por juicio de expertos y son aplicables y confiabilidad a través de alfa de Cronbach. bueno y de alta confiabilidad para medir ambas variables. El presente proyecto de investigación permitirá identificar si existe una relación significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento y la calidad en el manejo del almacenamiento del material estéril, aportando información valiosa para mejorar protocolos y prácticas en el servicio de C.E. y así contribuir a la reducción de infecciones hospitalarias y al fortalecimiento de la atención sanitaria en el hospital . Una vez recopilada la información, los datos se codificarán numéricamente y se organizarán en una hoja de cálculo de Excel para su sistematización. Posteriormente, se procesarán con el programa estadístico SPSS, lo que permitirá la creación de tablas y gráficos correspondientes a las variables del estudio.This research project explores the relationship between knowledge and management of sterile material storage among nursing staff in the central material reprocessing service of a national hospital in Huánuco during 2025. Instruments validated by expert judgment and demonstrating good and high reliability (Cronbach's alpha) will be used to measure both variables. This research project will identify whether a significant relationship exists between the level of knowledge and the quality of sterile material storage management, providing valuable information to improve protocols and practices in the central sterile material reprocessing service. This will contribute to reducing hospital-acquired infections and strengthening healthcare within the hospital. Once the information is collected, the data will be numerically coded and organized in an Excel spreadsheet for systematization.
