Healthcare personnel are not exempt from this problem, especially in the emergency area, since it is an area where there is an increase in stressors that affect the work performance of workers. Objective: To determine the relationship between work stress and work performance in nursing professionals in the emergency department of a Ministry of Health Hospital in Lima, 2023. Method: The following study is hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, applied, nonexperimental, cross-sectional and correlational. Fifty nursing graduates will participate. The technique to be used will be the survey, 1 questionnaire will be applied for each variable previously validated and that demonstrate reliability for its application.El estrés laboral es una enfermedad, de manera crónica puede repercutir graves problemas de salud a nivel físico, mental y psicológico.
