La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo “Determinar la influencia de la educación sexual en el logro de competencias en estudiantes de una universidad privada de lima” tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, método de investigación hipotético deductivo, de tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, nivel correlacional causal, corte transversal, la población fue de 10222 y su muestra de 370 estudiantes de I, II, III, y IV ciclo de estudios generales de una universidad privada. Se empleó la técnica de la encuesta y se aplicó el cuestionario de manera presencial, 24 ítems de educación sexual y 28 ítems de logro de competencia. la validez de constructo de ambos instrumentos con el valor de Kaiser Meyer y Olkin y esfericidad de Bartlett fue de 0.710 y 0.952 y el nivel de significancia de la esfericidad de Bartlett fue de p=0.000, indicando que ambos instrumentos son válidos y pueden ser aplicados. Al ser un estudio de nivel correlacional causal, es probado mediante el coeficiente de determinación, p=0,009<0,05 por lo tanto se decide aceptar la hipótesis alterna y se tiene el R2 Nagelkerke 0.082 que indica que la variable educación sexual influye 8.2% en el logro de competencias en estudiantes de una universidad privada de lima.The influence of sexual education on young people who develop skills in their university education based on their current knowledge and which they add during personal development, has shown that the social, psychological and biological environment has a level of influence related to the achievement of competencies as university students.
