This type of disease can be prevented by modifying lifestyles and risk factors. Objective: Determine how the level of knowledge is related to preventive care for kidney disease in patients who attend the cardiology clinic in a clinic in Lima. Peru- year 2023. Methodology. It will be hypothetical deductive, with a quantitative approach, this research will be applied and has a non-experimental correlational design. The sample will be made up of 90 patients from the cardiology office of a clinic in Lima and inclusion and exclusion criteria will be taken into account. The instrument that will be used is questionnaires and the technique is the survey. The data will be analyzed with the SPSS program, and the results of the research work can be analyzed according to the dimensions and the hypotheses can be compared.Introducción: La Enfermedad Renal Crónica es un problema público que afecta mundialmente, es tipo de enfermedad se puede prevenir modificando estilos de vida y factores de riesgo.
