Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeEstrada Olano, Rubí Ximena2024-02-292024-02-292023-12-07https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.13053/10444The general objective of this research was to determine how knowledge about tuberculosis is related to self-care practices in patients attending the Jesús María Lima health center, 2023, using a hypothetical deductive method, a type of applied research with a non-experimental design with a quantitative approach, using a sample of 120 older adults attending the Jesús María health center, who were surveyed about the level of knowledge and self-care practices. The main results show a positive and significant correlation between knowledge of tuberculosis and self-care practices (correlation coefficient of 0.848**). A p-value of 0.000 showed significance, it is concluded that there is a correlation between the level of knowledge of tuberculosis of patients attending the Jesus Maria health center in Lima in 2023 and the practice of self-care.Objetivo: Determinar cómo el conocimiento sobre tuberculosis se relaciona con la práctica de autocuidado en los pacientes que acuden al centro de salud Jesús María Lima 2023. Material y métodos: El enfoque metodológico utilizado fue cuantitativo, no experimental, transversal prospectivo y descriptivo. La muestra fueron 120 adultos mayores que asisten al centro de salud Jesús María, siendo seleccionadas por criterios de inclusión y exclusión de la investigación. Para medir las características sociodemográficas y familiares, se utilizó el instrumento de la se empleará el cuestionario elaborado por Toledo &azeste En relación a la variable nivel de conocimientos, el cuestionario tiene 10 , 2 dimensiones Ítems .En relación a la variable prácticas de autocuidado, tiene 21 ítems y 2 dimensiones :.
