El estudio utilizo un método deductivo, de tipo básico, de diseño no experimental, descriptiva, correlacional, retrospectiva y transversal. Con una muestra de tomografías realizadas a 150 pacientes atendidos en un centro radiológico. Los resultados muestran una correlación de Spearman positiva baja entre los factores sociodemográficos y la prevalencia del MB2 en primeros molares superiores (Rho = 0,112), sin embargo, esta relación no fue estadísticamente significativa (p = 0,173). Confluyendo que no existe relación entre la presencia del MB2 en primeros molares superiores y los factores sociodemográficos en pacientes atendidos en un centro radiológico, Lima 2025.This research aimed to determine the relationship between the prevalence of MB2 in upper first molars and sociodemographic factors in patients at a radiology center in Lima, Peru, in 2025. The study employed a deductive, basic, non-experimental, descriptive, correlational, retrospective, and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of CT scans performed on 150 patients treated at the radiology center. The results showed a weak positive Spearman correlation between sociodemographic factors and the prevalence of MB2 in upper first molars (Rho = 0.112); however, this relationship was not statistically significant (p = 0.173).
