The type of research is applied, analytical, with a quantitative approach, experimental in-vitro design, and longitudinal prospectively. This test was conducted on 30 Petri dishes with Candida albicans, using antibiotic discs impregnated with CHX at 0.12%, CPC at 0.07%, CHX at 0.12%, and CPC at 0.05%. The inhibition zones were measured in millimeters using a digital Vernier caliper. The antifungal efficacy of CHX at 0.12% was observed at 24 hours (19.72mm), 48 hours (19.61mm), and 72 hours (19.48mm). The averages for CPC at 0.07% at 24 hours (16.19mm), 48 hours (16.08mm), and 72 hours (15.96mm) were also noted. Additionally, the averages for CHX at 0.12% and CPC at 0.05% at 24 hours (14.40 mm), 48 hours (14.29mm), and 72 hours (14.18mm) were observed. It is concluded that CHX 0.12% was the most effective mouthwash against Candida albicans, followed by the antibiotic Amphotericin B.El propósito del presente estudio es determinar el efecto antifúngico de los colutorios orales frente a cepa de Candida albicans. El tipo de investigación es aplicada, de método analítico, bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño experimental in - vitro, longitudinal de forma prospectiva. Esta prueba se realizó en 30 placas Petri con Cándida albicans, se emplearon discos antibiograma, los cuales estuvieron impregnados con CHX al 0.12%, CPC al 0.07%, CHX al 0.12% y CPC al 0.05%. Los halos de inhibición fueron medidos en milímetros con una regla de Vernier digital. Los niveles de eficacia antimicótica del CHX al 0.12% a las 24 horas (19.72mm), 48 horas (19.61mm), y 72 horas (19.48mm) también se pudo observar que los promedios del CPC al 0.07% a las 24 horas (16.19mm), 48 horas (16.08mm), y 72 horas (15.96mm) Además, se pudo observar los promedios de CHX al 0.12% y el CPC al 0,05% a las 24 horas (14.40 mm), 48 horas (14.29mm) y 72 horas (14.18mm).
