En la población estudiada se encontró que el 58% presenta un retraso en su desarrollo psicomotor, la dimensión que presentó mayor cantidad de niños con valores inferiores para su edad fue la social con 62% seguida por el lenguaje con 54% y el sexo masculino fue el que presento mayores porcentajes de retraso en su población con un 66%. Los niños con antecedente de anemia presentan un retraso en su desarrollo psicomotor a pesar de haber recibido un tratamiento oportuno y haber superado el diagnóstico.The objective of this study was to determine the level of psychomotor development in children with a history of anemia.
