Metodología: Se empleará el método hipotético deductivo con enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, no experimental, correlacional y transversal. 80 enfermeros del área de cirugía de un hospital de Lima formarán parte de la muestra, a quienes se aplicarán dos instrumentos: el primero será el Cuestionario de conocimientos de la Lista de Verificación (10 ítems) que consta de las dimensiones: “conocimientos básicos” y “seguridad del paciente”; y el segundo es la “Guía de Observación sobre Aplicación de la Lista de Verificación” (19 ítems) y responde a las dimensiones: “entrada”, “pausa”, “pausa quirúrgica” y “salida de quirófano”.Objective: This academic work aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and application of the safe checklist among hospital nurses. Methodology: A hypothetical-deductive method with a quantitative approach will be used. It is applied, non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional.
