Metodología: será de tipo hipotético-deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, transversal y correlacional. Este diseño permitirá recolectar y analizar datos empíricos alineados con las hipótesis planteadas. La población de estudio estará conformada por 61 enfermeras, con quienes se aplicarán dos instrumentos previamente validados y confiables. Resultados: Se presentarán mediante tablas estadísticas y gráficos, fomentando la discusión crítica frente al marco teórico y los antecedentes revisados. Para determinar la relación entre las variables se empleará la prueba estadística Chi cuadrado, lo que permitirá identificar la fuerza de asociación existente.General objective: “To determine the relationship between knowledge and practice of the sterilization process among nurses” Methodology: The study will follow a “ hypothetical deductive approach, with a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational design” .
