Con respecto a la metodología empleará un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado, con diseño no experimental, mediante el análisis de 120 registros de laboratorio del INEN, utilizando técnicas de recolección mediante fichas y análisis estadístico en SPSS y se respetarán aspectos éticos y de confidencialidad, con aprobación del comité de ética del INEN y la institución educativa.The study will compare platelet counts in pediatric bone marrow transplant patients using manual and automated methods at the INEN (National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases) in 2025. The research aims to determine if there is a significant correlation between both methods and to analyze the influence of variables such as age and sex on the results. It will also review international and national background studies that analyze the accuracy and reliability of different platelet counting techniques, highlighting the advantages and limitations of each method. Regarding the methodology, a quantitative, applied, non-experimental design will be used, analyzing 120 laboratory records from the INEN. Data will be collected using forms and statistically analyzed using SPSS.
