Material y método: El estudio es de tipo aplicativo, enfoque cuantitativo, nivel descriptivo correlacional, diseño no experimental y de corte transversal. la población estará conformada por 72 pacientes ostomizados que asisten al Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza, seleccionados como muestra, considerando los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Se utilizará como instrumento dos cuestionario que medirán las variables de estudio, el primero medirá los Conocimiento sobre autocuidado que tienen pacientes ostomizados a través de 15 preguntas con opciones de respuesta múltiple, mientras el segundo las prácticas sobre autocuidado que tienen los pacientes ostomizados a través de 28 preguntas con opciones de respuesta dicotómicas, midiendo cuatro dimensiones: Cambio y frecuencia de cambio de la bolsa de colostomía, Higiene de la bolsa de colostomía, Medición de la estoma para adaptar el dispositivo y uso de protectores cutáneos.The present research study entitled: "Knowledge and Self-care Practices of Ostomy Patients of the Surgery Service of the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital, Lima 2022, has the Objective: To analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge and the self-care practices of ostomy patients of the Surgery Service of the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital, Lima 2022. Material and method: The study is of an applicative type, quantitative approach, descriptive correlational level, non-experimental and cross-sectional design. The population will be made up of 72 ostomy patients who attend the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital, selected as a sample, considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Two questionnaires will be used as instruments to measure the study variables.
