Métodos: El estudio fue observacional, transversal, analítico y prospectivo. La población estuvo constituida por 50 pacientes parcialmente desdentado con ganchos de Nylon y 50 con ganchos de Cromo en el periodo enero 2021 a diciembre 2023. Resultados: Se evidencian una relación positiva y significativa entre el tipo de retenedor utilizado y el nivel de satisfacción de los pacientes (r = 0,417; p < 0,001). En general, los usuarios de retenedores con ganchos de nylon presentaron un mayor nivel de satisfacción, con un 90% declarando estar satisfechos o muy satisfechos, mientras que los retenedores con ganchos metálicos mostraron menores niveles de satisfacción y mayores índices de insatisfacción. Conclusiones: Se confirman que el tipo de retenedor influye directamente en la percepción de comodidad y estética de los pacientes, cumpliendo con el objetivo de establecer la relación entre ambas variables.Objective: The objective of this research was to determine the level of satisfaction of patients using metal bases with chrome clasps and nylon clasps.
