The objective of the study was to determine the position of the mandibular canal using two imaging techniques (panoramic radiography or orthopantomography and cone beam computed tomography) in patients at a private radiology center during the period 2021–2025. The methodology was quantitative, basic, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive, and retrospective design; a sample of 226 images corresponding to 113 patients was analyzed. The results showed that Type 1 predominated in OPG, and no statistically significant differences were found according to age, sex, or side (p > 0.05). In TVHC, no consistent changes were identified according to age or sex in most positions and sectors, with specific significance in sector F; however, statistically significant differences were found according to side in various regions (A, B, D, and E) across the positions evaluated. It is concluded that the OPG shows a mostly stable mandibular canal arrangement with no significant variation by age, sex, or laterality, while the CBCT allows for the identification of significant lateral variations, highlighting its usefulness for a detailed bilateral evaluation in clinical and surgical planning.application/pdfspahttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/Canal MandibularMandibular CanalRadiografía PanorámicaRadiography, PanoramicTomografía Computarizada de Haz CónicoCone-Beam Computed TomographyDisposición del conducto mandibular según dos técnicas imagenológicas en pacientes de un centro radiológico privado de Lima, 2025Mandibular duct disposition according to two imaging techniques in patients of a private radiology center in lima, 2025http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_7a1fhttps://purl.org/pe-repo/ocde/ford#3.02.14ODS 3: Salud y bienestar.
