Objective: To determine how the level of knowledge of hypertensive patients is related to compliance with preventive measures in chronic kidney failure in the medicine hospitalization service, in a hospital in Lima, in 2022. Methods: The present study is of hypothetical deductive method, information will be collected by means of the questionnaire, with a nominal scale the data will be analyzed with the SPSS program, and will be visualized by study variables, according to dimensions and indicators, the results of the research work will be observed, analyzed and compared with the hypothesis and their relationship between them.La hipertensión arterial y la enfermedad renal crónica son patologías que se pueden prevenir modificando factores prevalentes de la enfermedad. Objetivo: Determinar como el nivel de conocimiento de los pacientes hipertensos se relaciona con el cumplimiento de las medidas preventivas en la insuficiencia renal crónica en el servicio de hospitalización de medicina, en un hospital de Lima, año 2022.
