La metodología adoptada correspondió a un estudio de método no experimental de corte transversal y prospectivo, que avaluó un total de 95 pacientes de la clínica dental Multident mediante el registro de la Dimensión Vertical Oclusal (DVO). En los resultados, al examinar la relación entre la DVO y la longitud de los dedos de la mano mediante el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson, se presentaron correlaciones significativas entre la D.V.O y todas las longitudes de los dedos, con coeficientes de Pearson de 0,329 (pulgar, p=0,001), 0,397 (índice, p=0,000), 0,353 (medio, p=0,000), 0,320 (anular, p=0,001) y 0,229 (meñique, p=0,024). En conclusión, los resultados indican una relación positiva y significativa entre la D.V.O y la longitud de cada dedo, siendo más fuerte la correlación con el dedo índice.The objective of the research is to determine the relationship between the occlusal vertical dimension and the length of the fingers of the hand in patients seen in a dental office Lima 2023. Non-experimental cross-sectional and prospective study, which evaluated a total of 95 patients of the Multident dental clinic by registering the Occlusal Vertical Dimension (OVD). In the results, when examining the relationship between the DVO and the length of the fingers of the hand using the Pearson compensation coefficient, significant correlations were presented between the DVO and all finger lengths, with Pearson coefficients of 0.329 ( thumb, p=0.001), 0.397 (index, p=0.000), 0.353 (middle, p=0.000), 0.320 (ring, p=0.001) and 0.229 (little finger, p=0.024).
