Materiales y Métodos: Se siguió una investigación hipotético deductiva, cuantitativa, no experimental, transversal y correlacional. Población: Se trabajo con 80 personas considerando a todos como la muestra Resultados: se observó que hay medio cumplimiento con un 52.5% en el nivel de conocimiento en su dimensión normas generales de bioseguridad asimismo en cuanto al cumplimiento también es medio representado por el 37.5%. En el conocimiento en su dimensión normas preventivas de bioseguridad con el cumplimiento de medidas de bioseguridad en el personal de enfermería, hay medio cumplimiento con medio nivel de conocimiento en 45%. En nivel de conocimiento en su dimensión normas de bioseguridad sobre el desecho del material contaminado con el cumplimiento de medidas de bioseguridad en el personal de enfermería, hay medio cumplimiento con medio nivel de conocimiento en 45%.Objective: To analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge and compliance with biosafety measures in the nursing staff of the Emergency Service of a Public Hospital in Lima. Materials and Methods: A hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational research was followed. Population: The sample was created using simple random probability because it was considered that each individual had the same chances of being selected, with a total of 80 nursing staff since we will work with all the staff in the Emergency Service of a Public Hospital in Lima, being a study has a non probabilistic sampling, selected at random. Results, the level of knowledge with compliance with biosafety measures in the nursing staff of the Emergency Service of a Public Hospital in Lima, there is medium compliance with a medium level of knowledge at 52.5%. In the level of knowledge in its general biosafety standards dimension with compliance with biosafety measures in the nursing staff, there is medium compliance with a medium level of knowledge at 37.5%. In terms of knowledge level in the area of preventive biosafety standards and compliance with biosafety measures among nursing staff, there is medium compliance with a medium level of knowledge at 45%.
