(p= .008, es menor a .05; rho= .185).The objective of this study was to identify the relationship between self-esteem and frustration tolerance in secondary school students at a public educational institution in San Juan de Lurigancho, 2025. The method was hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach, basic typology, and a non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational design. The sample consisted of 206 third-, fourth-, and fifth-year secondary school students, selected through convenience sampling. Data was collected using the Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (SEI) and the Frustration Tolerance Scale. The results show that the majority of participants were male (55.8%). Regarding self-esteem, most students presented a high average level of self-esteem (69.4%). In terms of frustration tolerance, most presented a high to medium level (47.1%). The study concluded that there is a statistically significant, positive, and very weak relationship between self-esteem and frustration tolerance in the students evaluated.
