Para la atención de los bebes prematuros el Método Canguro es económico Objetivo “Determinar cuál es la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento del método madre canguro y las actitudes en el cuidado del prematuro del personal de enfermería en UCIN de un hospital”. La Metodología será aplicado, cuantitativo, hipotético-deductivo y no experimental utilizando un diseño transversal. La población utilizada en este estudio será de 80 enfermeros que trabajan en la unidad de área crítica neonatal de un hospital público de Lima. El método empleado es la encuesta, que tiene dos cuestionarios. Uno de ellos evaluará el nivel de conocimientos del personal de enfermería y el otro su actitud. Ambos fueron validados mediante el juicio de expertos, arrojando una concordancia de 0,98 y 0,87, respectivamente, lo que confirma la validez de la encuesta; no obstante, para evaluar la fiabilidad del cuestionario se utilizó el alfa de Cronbach, que fue de 0,98 para el segundo. Por último, se aplicó la prueba de hipótesis de Pearson para el examen inferencial de la correlación.Introduction: Premature births; one in 10 births is premature, therefore, due to complications of premature birth, it is estimated that more than a million die each year due to this problem.
