Villa Limatambo en Lima, 2025. Para tales circunstancias, el método que se aplicó en el estudio fue hipotético/deductivo, cuantitativo, no experimental, correlacional, transversal e investigación aplicada. Para este estudio se contó con una población total de 200 estudiantes de secundaria de un centro educativo de Lima, pero solo se consideró una muestra de 132 participantes, a quienes se les aplicó dos cuestionarios previamente validados para medir las variables relacionadas al virus, mediante una encuesta. Los resultados evidenciaron una relación negativa fuerte y significativa entre las variables (rho = -0.630; p < 0.01). Por tanto, se llegó a la conclusión de que sí existe una relación significativa entre las variables, en la población anteriormente mencionada.This study sought to determine, as its main objective, the relationship between the variables: level of knowledge and risk behaviors for contracting the HPV virus in first and second grade students at Villa Limatambo Secondary School in Lima, 2025. Under these circumstances, the study used a hypothetical/deductive, quantitative, non-experimental, correlational, cross sectional, and applied research method. This study included a total population of 200 secondary school students from a school in Lima, but only a sample of 132 participants was selected. Two previously validated questionnaires were administered to measure variables related to the virus through a survey. The results showed a strong and significant negative relationship between the variables (rho = -0.630; p < 0.01).
