Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between the knowledge and practices of nursing professionals in the assessment of sedoanalgesia in patients with mechanical ventilation in the intensive care unit of the Luis Negreiros Vega Hospital, 2022. Method: quantitative approach; collects information through a questionnaire and its results are presented in tables and graphs. The population of 50 nurses who work in the intensive care unit who work at the Luis Negreiros Vega hospital. After that, the data will be analyzed in the SPSS program and the hypothesis will be approved using the Sperman coefficient statistical test.Introducción: El conocimiento es la acción de adquirir nueva información, atraves de hechos vividos se da el nuevo conocer. Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre los conocimientos y las prácticas del profesional de enfermería en la valoración de la sedoanalgesia en pacientes con ventilación mecánica en la unidad de cuidados intensivos del hospital Luis Negreiros Vega, 2022. Método: de enfoque cuantitativo; recopila información a través de un cuestionario y sus resultados se presentan en tablas y gráficos. La población de 50 enfermeras que laboran en la unidad de cuidados intensivos que laboran en el hospital Luis Negreiros Vega.
