Para ello, se diseñó una investigación cuantitativa, básica, no experimental, transversal y correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 217 estudiantes de un centro educativo, quienes fueron evaluados mediante la Escala de Estilos de Crianza (EEC-1) y el Cuestionario de Violencia Escolar (CUVE3-ESO). Se evidenció una correlación significativa entre los estilos de crianza y la violencia escolar (X2=10.05; p<0.05). Además, los estilos de crianza mostraron correlaciones significativas con las dimensiones (p<0.05). En conclusión, se identificó que aquellos estudiantes que presentaron un elevado nivel de violencia escolar presentaron niveles elevados en los estilos de crianza negligente y represivo.The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between parenting styles and school violence among secondary school students in San Juan de Miraflores, 2024. A quantitative, basic, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational study was designed. The sample consisted of 217 students from one school, who were assessed using the Parenting Styles Scale (EEC-1) and the School Violence Questionnaire (CUVE3 ESO). A significant correlation was found between parenting styles and school violence (X2=10.05; p<0.05). Furthermore, parenting styles showed significant correlations with the dimensions: verbal violence from students towards students (X2=21.32; p<0.05), verbal violence from students towards teachers (X2=15.37; p<0.05), direct physical violence and threats between students (X2=18.13; p<0.05), indirect physical violence by students (X2=13.25; p<0.05), social exclusion (X2=13.99; p<0.05), violence through ICTs (X2=16.79; p<0.05), classroom disruption (X2=19.10; p<0.05) and violence from teachers towards students (X2=12.86; p<0.05).
