The results showed the prevalence of a significance of less than .05; Added to this, the Rho coefficient was = .829, which allowed us to conclude that the assessment of educational material on knowledge is related to breastfeeding practices and children under six (6) months of age who attend the San Bartolomé hospital. 2023.La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general determinar la valoración del material educativo sobre conocimientos y prácticas en lactancia materna y el niño y niña menor de seis (6) meses que acuden al hospital San Bartolomé 2023, para lo cual se empleó un método hipotético deductivo, un tipo de investigación aplicada, con un nivel correlacional y un diseño no experimental, en una muestra de 200 madres que fueron encuestadas acerca de sus conocimientos y prácticas entorno a la lactancia materna, siendo que los instrumentos cumplieron con los criterios de validez y confiabilidad pertinentes.
