Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo, básica, no experimental, transversal; se evaliuó 90 pacientes niños, utilizando el instrumento ficha de registro de datos, registrando edad, sexo, etapas de calcificación dental del canino inferior inferiores e indicador de madurez esquelética (Hägg y Taranger). Se evidencia que el 22.2.% presenta etapa de calcificación F e indicador de madurez FG; el 5.6% etapa de calcificación H e indicador de madurez I y el 11.1% etapa de calcificación E e indicador de madurez F; en la prueba de correlación se usó la prueba (Rho de Spearman), se obtuvo el valor de p-valor de 0,000, siendo este mismo <0,05, por lo que las variables presentan una relación, además de ello, el coeficiente de correlación presentó valor de 0,514 e indica una correlación positiva regular; concluyendo que, existe una correlación positiva moderada entre la etapa de calcificación del canino inferior izquierdo y los indicadores de madurez esquelética. Esta relación se mostró estadísticamente significativa (rho = 0,514; p = 0,000), lo que indica que, a medida que avanza la calcificación dental, también se incrementa el grado de madurez esquelética.This study sought to determine the correlation between the stages of dental calcification and indicators of skeletal maturity in patients seen at the Norbert Wiener University Clinic, 2025. A quantitative, basic, non-experimental, cross-sectional study was designed; 90 child patients were analysed, using the data registration form instrument, recording age, sex, stages of dental calcification of the lower lower canine and skeletal maturity indicator (Hägg and Taranger). It is evident that 22.2.% present calcification stage F and maturity indicator FG; 5.6% calcification stage H and maturity indicator I and 11. In the correlation test, the Spearman's Rho test was used and a p-value of 0.000 was obtained, being this value <0.05, so the variables present a relationship, in addition to this, the correlation coefficient presented a value of 0.514 and indicates a regular positive correlation; concluding that there is a moderate positive correlation between the stage of calcification of the lower left canine and the skeletal maturity indicators.
