Para esto se utilizó el método de Thilander para analizar las radiografías de pacientes adultos de este hospital. Se determinó que hay una prevalencia baja de asimetrías mandibulares, con las asimetrías del cóndilo mandibular siendo más comunes que las de la rama mandibular. Entre estos, el grupo etario de entre 48 a 52 años es mucho más propenso a padecer de estas anomalías que aquellos grupos de menor edad, con el género femenino siendo también el más propenso hacia esta condición.The objective of this thesis is to determine the prevalence of mandibular asymmetries found in panoramic radiographs analyzed according to the Thilander method in an adult population that was treated at the PNP hospital during the year 2024. For this, the Thilander method was used to analyze the x-rays of adult patients at this hospital. It was determined that there is a low prevalence of mandibular asymmetries, with asymmetries of the mandibular condyle being more common than those of the mandibular ramus.
