Nurses who are on the front line of care every working day are in contact with patients carrying the covid 19 virus, therefore they are experiencing frequent symptoms of anxiety, which is why there is a latent fear of carrying this virus home. Objective: To compare anxiety in nurses at the Hermilio Valdizán Hospital and the Víctor Larco Herrera Hospital in order to timely recognize the signs and symptoms of the mental disorder anxiety. Methods. The study is quantitative, cross-sectional and descriptive comparative type, it has a non-probabilistic sample of 80 nurses who work at the Hermilio Valdizán Hospital and 80 nurses who work at the Víctor Larco Herrera Hospital. The ZUNG instrument will be used to rule out anxiety; the same one that establishes a frame of reference for anxious behaviors, based on a questionnaire of 20 phrases that are referred by the patient in this case to the nurses to rule out anxiety.El virus de covid 19 tiene poco tiempo de investigación, sin tratamiento específico y los medios de contagios no están muy claros, los enfermeros que están en primera línea de atención en cada jornada laboral están en contacto con pacientes portadores del virus covid 19 por ende están experimentando síntomas frecuentes de ansiedad por lo que existe un temor latente de portar este virus hacia su hogar. Objetivo: Comparar la ansiedad en los enfermeros del Hospital Hermilio Valdizán y el Hospital Víctor Larco Herrera con la finalidad de reconocer oportunamente los signos y síntomas del trastorno mental de la ansiedad. Métodos. El estudio es cuantitativo, corte transversal y tipo descriptivo comparativo, cuenta con una muestra no probabilística de 80 enfermeros que laboran en el Hospital Hermilio Valdizán y de 80 enfermero que laboran en el Hospital Víctor Larco Herrera.
