El objetivo es determinar la relación del presupuesto por resultados y el desempeño del gestor de Salud en el sistema sanitario de la Fuerza Aérea del Perú, 2019. El estudio de investigación fue de tipo aplicado, con diseño no experimental, correlacional y transversal. Los participantes fueron 101 trabajadores del área de gestión y del planeamiento de la Dirección de Sanidad FAP y las IPRESS. La técnica e instrumentos de recolección de datos, fueron los cuestionarios de Presupuesto para resultados (PPR) y de Desempeño del gestor de salud en el Sistema Sanitario de la FAP. Los resultados demostraron que el 40.6% del personal gestor de salud se consideran competentes en el desarrollo del presupuesto por resultados generando un alto desempeño; en tanto, el 50.5% se consideró competente en la atención medica básica y especializado con un alto de desempeño como gestor de salud; mientras, que el 53.5% se consideró competente en el manejo de la tecnología sanitaria, con un alto desempeño como gestor en la salud. Las conclusiones sostuvieron que el presupuesto por resultados se relacionó significativamente con el desempeño de los gestores de salud en el sistema sanitario de la Fuerza Área del Perú; asimismo, la atención médica básica, especializada y la tecnología sanitaria se relacionaron con el desempeño del gestor de salud.The budgetary are categories that constitute an instrument for Results, being a unit of programming of the actions of the public entity, which, integrated and articulated, are oriented to provide products, to achieve a specific result in the population. The objective is to determine the relationship of the budget by results and the performance of the Health manager in the health system of the Peruvian Air Force, 2019. The research study was of an applied type, with a non-experimental, correlational and crosssectional design. The participants were 101 workers from the management and planning area of the FAP Health Directorate and the IPRESS. The data collection technique and instruments were the Budget for Results (PPR) and Performance of the health manager in the FAP Health System questionnaires. The results showed that 40.6% of the health management personnel consider themselves competent in the development of the results-based budget, generating high performance; meanwhile, 50.5% considered themselves competent in basic and specialized medical care with a high performance as a health manager; while 53.5% considered themselves competent in technological management with high performance as a health manager.
